WOODY! LLE SALE. Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd. report as under on the above fixture : At the Woodville sale on Monday we report a full yarding of lambs ot all descriptions, there being very few sheep of other descriptions yarded. The sale, taking it on the whole, was the best sale ol iambs held this year. Out of a total yarding of 2798 we sold the lot with the exception of two small pens, prices showing a firming tendency all round on recent sales. Included in our entry were some pens of particularly choice rape lambs and the following are a *cw of the more important sales; AcV . lambs, 23s 2d; 187 woolly b-t. iambs. 21s 4d. Account E. \Y. Hansen. Pahiatua: 3.80 woolly wether lambs, 19s 3d. Account A. Ramsden. Kumer. u : 215 shorn w.f. wetlver lambs, 1 i-.s. This price constitutes a record for this year. This pen of wether Lambs were outstanding and in our opinion were the best pen of w.f. shorn lambs we have seen yarded for many years. Account H. Williams. WoodViile: 267 shorn w.f. wether lambs.
