MASTERTON SHOW.
The 49th annual show will be held on 18th and 19th February and prospective exhibitors and others are advised that entries close on February 3rd. -Entries for the ram and ewe lair close on the same date. The cups and trophies open for competition are valued a-fc £.750. This show also includes classes for poultry and pigeons and a kennel show. Due to the favourable season the fat sheep and cattle classes should be a feature of the show. Large entries are expected in the ring events which are always popular with the public. There are two classes for sheep dog trials, also a wire jump on both days of the show. Classes are also included for porker and Falconer pigs. In the kennel dog section cups to the value of £llO are offered for competition and feeing a one day for dogs only, this should enable many exhibitors from Wellington and Manawatu districts to attend. A win at this show is always worth while and is a splendid opportunity for new exhibitors to forward entries. Schedules are now ready and may be had free, on application to the secretary, Box 40, Master-ton.
