Mrs W. E. Rose, Hall’s Road, is visiting Wellington. Mrs A. Aston has returned from a holiday in Wellington. Mrs O. Johansen and family are spending the school vacation in Maurice ville. Mrs Ralph W ills, of Mangamutu. is an inmate of the Pahiatua Public Hospital. Mrs and Mrs C. Smyth and family. have returned from a holiday at Castlepoint. beach. Mrs P. Ryan, Arthur Street, returned yesterday from a short stay in the country. Mr A. K. I. Purdie is at present visiting his parents, Mr and Mrs W. H. Purdie, Tydnall Street. Mr Bert McGarvie, of Wellington, has been the guest of Mr and Mrs G. Biddle, Hamua. Mrs W. Harrison and her two sons have returned from an extended motor camping tour of tlie North island Mr Ci u low, Government auditor, has completed bis annual audit of the Pahiatua Borough and County books and has letumed to Wellington . Mr T. J. Ilya n, stationmaster at National Park, is on his annual leave and accompanied hv Airs Ryan and family have been the guests of Air and Mrs W. J. Rvaii, Hamua.
