The_ women’s singles final was won by Aliss Joan Hartigan who beat Aliss N. Wynne (Victoria). 6 1, 6 — 4.
Crawford was out of touch, missed easy shots and often appeared rattled. Quist won brilliantly. He has this season won four titles—the New South Wales, Queensland Victorian and Australian championships.
