SERIOUSLY WOUNDED.
YOUTH. A RIFLE, AND FENCE. Electric Telegraph—Press Association MASTERTON. Last Night. Edwin Holmes, aged 18, son of Air Charles Holmes, ol Alart inborough, was seriously wounded on Sunday morning while rabbit-shooting at Hinakura. The accident happenecr when Holmes was getting through a fence, the shot gun discharging ancf wounding him in the left breast. His conditions to-night is improved but be is not yet out of danger.
