CARS IN COLLISION.

ACCIDENT IN MAIN STREET. About 5.45 last night two cars were involved in a head-on collision in Main Street near the W.F.C.A. garage. District Nurse Lee, of Wanganui, driving a baby car with a sister, Mrs \\ el lei, of Island Bay. and three young children, from Wellington to Hastings, had proceeded along tlie street for seme distance till she reached the end of the hedge t ringing tlie tennis court garden when suddenly a light car driv< Miss Burgess, of Kaitawa. hove in sight, coining across the street from the opposite side of the road.
