Airs Braggins and Aliss Tsa Braggins, ot Cambridge St., have returned from a holidar in the South Island.
Lieutenant AfcChesney. of the local Salvation Army, has been transferred to Waipnkurau. and Lieutenant Grey, of Wellington, has taken her place.
Airs I. S. Hanlon, of Edward St., who has but recently recovered from several broken ribs, had the misfortune on Saturday to fall and "ustain a broken ankle bone.
The engagement is announced of Grace, third daughter of Airs AI. Hols wick. Austin Street. Wellington, to George Reginald Godfrey. second son of Air and Airs CL Godfrex Taylor. Pahiatua.
Aliss Atarion Reese* president <*i the Canterbury Association of the New Zealand Federation of University Women, who is visiting her sister, Airs Cornelius, Mnngaliao, P iliiatua, will go to Wellington early next week to attend the trienn al conference of university women.
