MR. BOA” NOT WANTED IN NEW ZEALAND.

An undesirable alien denied admission to still-snakeless New Zealand, a beautifully-mottled five-foot boa constrictor, brought all the way from Panama City aboard the Kemuera, is dead. On Thursday, in the presence of officials, he was doped and decapitated before the Remuera left Wellington for Auckland. The big snake was the property of Air E. W. Scott, editor of the SpanishAmerican Newspaper, Panama, at present on a holiday in New’ Zealand.

Air Scott said on his arrival that he desired to present the boa to the Wellington zoo. He declared the snake to Customs officials, but permission to bring i,t ashore was not forthcoming.
