January 20 General Bacloglios in a communique says the Italians are still relentlessly pursuing Ras Desta’s troops, many ot whom were in a deplorable condition and surrendered begging for food. It recalls that the Abyssinia,ns announced on January 13th that Ras Dcsta was withdrawing troops up in Canale Dorya to solve supply difficulties. |
