TROUBLE FOMENTING.
DANZIG SITUATION SERIOUS. AN ALARMING REPORT. United Press Assn —By Electric Telegraph—Copy right. LONDON, January 19. The Times’ Warsaw correspondent savs the semi-official gazette, Polaka, describes the report that Mr Sean Lester, the League’s High Commissioner for Danzig, is submitting to the League regarding Danzig as alarming. Another newspaper declares that it is another thunderbolt. It is understood that Air Lester emphasises that the Senate’s unconstitutional procedure and disobedience of the League’s instructions is essentially a League problem, which explains why M. Beck (Polish Foreign Minister) is visiting Paris en route to Geneva to consult M. Laval and possibly Air R. A. Eden, who is .the* raporteur regarding the Danzig disputes. Danzig reports that AI. Greiser, the President of the Senate, incensed at Mr Lester’s report, has left for Berlin to consult Herr Hitler. The Nazi lighting organisation held a big demonstration, receiving Nazi flags from Herr Schnee, the head of the Nazi fighting organisation in Germany. The gathering demonstrated against the League and swore allegiance to Herr Hitler.
