MEETING AT PAHIATCA. The usual fortnightly meeting of the Pahiatua Lodge was held in the Mayfair Hall on Thursday last when Bro. H. Fisher, junr., A.D., presided over a full attendance. Several apologies were received and accounts amounting to nearly £lO were passed for payment. Correspondence ‘from the Stonehenge Lodge Xo. 1 was received regarding their visit to Pahiatua on March 12, and it was decided to accept same. A large attendance of local brethren is expected, besides many from sister lodges. An important motion regarding the funds of the Lodge was passed, and the balance-sheet regarding the Friendly Societies’ hospital scheme was submitted. Congratulations were extended to the A.D. on his narrow escape in a recent accident at Pori.
