OBITUARY.
AIRS S. F. VIBERT Another pioneer settler of the Wairarapa district. Mrs Sarah Wallis Vibert. widow of the late Mr Francis E. Vibert. died yesterday at her re' Kid cnee. 75 Rentier Street. Masterton. The late Mrs - Vibert, who was in her 85th year, was born at Lowe stolt, Suffolk, England, and arrived in New Zealand on 19th October, 1874, with her husband and infant son, in tin* ship Ca-rfvaie, after a voyage of 110 days. Mr and Airs Viberb proceeded ■ to Masterton, the. journey oven the RinuTtakas being accomplished in a four-horse brake, and made their , home heres Airs Vibert was a pioneer member of the Masterton Methodist Church, and was actively associated with the Ladies' Guild of that church from its inception. Her husband predeceased her about 18 months ago and she is survived by two daughters., Airs R. G. Jamieson. Masterto-ii, arid Airs F. S. Jones, Eketahuna, and eighteen grandchildren.; Two .sons and a daughter. predeceased her. Tin* ’sympathy of a- wide circle of friend,s will Im* extended t<* tie,.* bereaved relatives.
