STEAMER SINKS AT MIDNIGHT.
90 PASSENGERS CRKW. (Received 10.35 a.m.) United Press Assn. —by Electric Telegraph—Copyright. CONSTANTINOPLE, Nov. 12. The steamer luexc-lu foundered entering Smyrna harbour. Eighty passengers were drowned. (Received 10 a.m.) CONSTANTINOPLE. Nov. 12. A violent hurricane- struck the steamer Inexolu at midnight. The British cargo steamer Polo rushed to her assistance and managed to take off a hundred passengers in the pitch darkness before water invaded the Inexolu’s holds causing her to sink in a lew minutes with more than 90 passengers and crew.
