At the Gisboine annual horse fair there was a. considerablv larger ent-v than usual. For the first day 150 broken horses were offered. There >va s a good demand for good types of *.71 weights. There were small vardings at the weekly Central Hawke’s Bay catt’e sale yesterday Beef sales- showed a slight advance on Stortford prices. The market for dairy cattle was again dull. Fat ewes sold well, otherwise values were much the same as last week.
