Three yearlings soi l yesterday were burned to death. A house alongside, occupied by Air T. Sweeney, was gutted Another part of Chisholm’s stables occupied by Air Fred Williams' horses, including Chatham, was undamaged, and a third section. containing George Price’s charges, was also untouched, the wind being in the right direction, though, the horses were removed to safety. Chatham was quartered in a box on the east side of the stables and was never in danger, owing to the wind being in the opposite- direction. H.
