BOOKMAKER FINED £SO. Electric Telegraph—Press Association O AMARU, February 7. William Ernest Woodliam, who was previously convicted of keeping a gaming house, was convicted this morning- and fined £SO by the Magistrate, Air H. W. Bundle, S.M. Cyril Rayburn Ghilcott, who was convicted of a similar offence, was described by the police as a bookmaker’s agent. He was fined £2. William John Hunter, convicted of being on Woodliam’s premises, was fined £2. James Henry Vallis was admitted to probation for two years for stealing chattels valued at £3O from W alter Sumpter, consisting of the whole of a household of furniture from a crib at Reidston.
