CHALLENGE TO GOODFELLOW.
DAIRY PRODUCE STATISTICS. Electric Telegraph—Press Association WELLINGTON. This Day. Mr .T. L. Spears, vice-president of the New Zealand Manufacturers' Federation, declares that bis challenge to Mr William Goodfellow is still open. He says: ‘lt is correct that Air Goodfellow s figures appeared in the Statist. The figures were given by Mr Goodfellow as the value of New Zealand's sales of primarv produce to Great Britain. Actually they represented the value of our produce, plus freight. insurance, landing charges, buyers’ commissions and profit and including even the whole of our wool and other produce, which was merely transhipped at London en route for the Continent."
