Ladies’ singles first round Miss Bickerton (Australia), heat Miss Marion MaeFarlane (Auckland), b 2, 6—o. Men’s doubles, third round, Mai (Toy and Seay beat Andrews and J. Lowry, 7 —5, ”—-5; Rhodes Williams and Dvraomi beat Bartlett and Sturt, 6—3, 0 6, B—-6> b—4. Boys’ singles championship, second round. ,T W. Gunn (Auckland), defeated R. Pat tin son (West Coast), (> —4. 6—l nunneley casket. CHRISTCHURCH, December 30. The Wellington women’s team defeated Canterbury iu the final oii the Nunneley Casket match.
