ARSENIC IN MAIZE. LONDON, November 16. Wiltshire police arc making intensive inquiries for the man who mixed arsenic with the maize spread over an acre of Penning Wood, part of J. O. Morrison’s Fontliill Hoii.se Estate, Tisbury. So far, nearly 1 cwt of poisoned grain/' lias been found. Tt lias been ascertained that over TOO pheasants have been x^ o * as well as much other game. Further, but for the discovery of Mr Morrison’s bead kecfier of the fact that the birds were poisoned it is hevond doubt that scores of people to whom the pheasants would he distributed would he x>° lsor, od. There is no clue as to who the poisoner is.
