LEFT HOME FOR A CAT.
When a Polish boy of nine was ordered bv liis parents to turn a cat out of the house, he tied a string round its neck, and set out from Warsaw and walked to the Carpathian Mountains. The boy took refuge with his aunt. Only after the parents promised that he might keep liis pet would he consent to return home.
