PRESIDENT NOT ALARMED. United Press Assn.—By Electric Telegraph—Conyri ght. WASHINGTON. December 27. President Roosevelt professed no concern to-day as the Treasury statement revealed that the Federal deficit for the current fiscal year had passed the billion dollar mark. He said this was due to the emergency appropriations voted by Congress, and insisted that tile so-called ordinary Budget will be kept well within balance, and, perhaps, will show a surplus.
