POSTAL THEFTS.
GAOL FOR LONDON SORTER. United Press Assn.—By Electric Telegraph—Omyright. LONDON, December 17. Charged with having stolen 40 postal packets at the General Post Office while his fellows were attending the Armistice Day service elsewhere in the building, a sorter was sentenced to 15 months’ imprisonment. The thefts were committed during the two minutes’ silence.
