NARROWLY DEFEATED. (Received 10.40 a.in.) United Press Assn.—-Bv Electric Telegraph—Copyright. MELBOURNE. This Day. The Ministry was defeated by 27 to 26 votes on a motion to adjourn the House to discuss the retirement of two members of the Geelong Harbour Trust and the appointment of two others The Premier, Mr Argyle, regards the vote seriously. Cabinet considers it to-day.
