MANGAMAIRE INSTITUTE.
The usual monthly meeting of the Mangamairo W.T. was held on Wednesday last, Mrs J. Brosnahan presiding over a good attendance of members. Mrs Brosnahan reported on the recent Spring Group meeting held at Pahiatua. The competition for “best knitted article” brought forth a number of entries, and Mesdnmos Green and Roil; who kind.lv acted as judges, awarded as follows :—Mrs H. Henderson 1. Miss Pinfold 2. A novel competition, arranged by Mrs G. Wobb was won bv Mrs L. Wards. Afternoon tea was dispensed by the hostesses, Mesdamcs Brosnahan and Webb, and a very pleasant social afternoon was brought to a close with the singing of the National Anthem.
