MURDER OF TWO WOMEN. United Press Assn.—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. SYDNEY, September 18. Cabinet has commuted the death sentence of Erie Craig to life imprisonment and he will never be released. Craig had three trials, the jury in two instances disagreeing. Then followed appeals to the higher Court, which failed. Craig had previously been convicted of manslaughter and sentenced to life. Thus twice he has received a life sentence in relation to two women brutally murdered within a brief period.
