RETTEE DEMAND FOR CHEESE. The London butter market was more active last week, and prices of Now Zealand salted advanced 2s 3s a owt. to 91s-945. the highest level recorded since last. October. The retail price of X.Z. buttei in London was increased to Is a lb. Little change was seen in cheese the market for which was steadier following an improved demand.
