MUSIC BY THE HIGH-HATTERS. The president and stewards of the Pahiatua Racing Club in an advertisement on the front page issue a cordial invitation to the public of Pahiatua and district to. attend their Race Ball, set down for Friday, Sep- ? tenther Bth, in the Drill Hall. So long has it been since the distinct held a function of this magnitude and so insistent were the requests to the Racing Club, that the stewards unanimously agreed to organise a public ball for the enjoyment of town and country supporters of tlie club.
