BURIAL OF ETON MASTERS. ROYAL SYMPATHY. United Press Assn.—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. RUGBY, August 22. The King and Queen have sent their deep and heartfelt sympathy to Eton College on the terrible loss the school has suffered through the death of four of its masters while descending the mountain Pic Roseg, m the Swiss Bernina Alps. The remains of the four masters, Messrs Powell, Slater, Howson, and White-Thomson, were buried to-day in one grave in the Protestant cemetery at Pontresina. At Eton to-day all shops were shut, and the college was closed to> visitors for an 'hour.
