SLUMP IN PLANES.
United Press Assn.—By Electric Telegraph—Copvi ight. PARIS, August 22. AI. Bleriot says : “Unless the Ministry- of Air gives me orders I can clo nothing. A few years ago I employed 3000 men, now I employ onlv ten. During my lifetime I have designed 200 different models, and have built over 1000. During the war my factory’s output leached thirteen aeroplanes per day. In 1926 I submitted plans of seaplanes exactly similar to these used by General Balbo’s armada, but they were rejected. To-day 1 have plans for trans-Atlantic- passenger machines which I am sure will be generally approved five years hence.”
