MAGISTRATE’S COURT.

SPEEDING IN EKETAHUNA. Mr J. Miller, S.M., presided over the monthly sitting or the PaliiatHm Magistrate’ s Court yesterday. Action was taken by the traffic insjvector for the Eketahuna Borough, Arthur Ellison Palmer (Mr Gooding) against Francis Raymond Ellis, who was charged that on July 13th, at Eketahuna, he did travel along Main Street at a speed which, having regard to the circumstances, might have been dangerous to the jiuhlic. The inspector gave evidence that the car was travelling through the town on the date in question (a 1 hursday) at a. speed of approximately 3o to 40 miles an hour.
