DOG TRIAL CLUB.
JUDGE APPOINTED. A meeting of the Pahiatua-Alakuri Sheep Dog Trial Club was held at the Club Hotel on Saturday afternoon to make further "arrangements for the annual trials to be held on Alarch 18th. 19th and 20th, on the Balfour Estate. The president, Air J. A. Gibson, occupied the chair. Arrangements for the grounds were left in the hands of Messrs P. A. and A. W. Bisset. Air F. E. Ward, of Afangatainoka, was ajipointed ground marshal. The judge will be Air W. Pringle, of Dannevirke. The secretary was instructed to arrange -for the catering.
