At the a r tragedy inquest, Squadron-Leader Scriven ’ expressed the opinion that tire accident was due to a bump when turning at too slow a speed, while Grant was manoeuvring for a position to photograph the fall of the warship’s shots. The ’plane was an old type and obsolete for the exacting requirements of the naval work, though perfectly sale for ordinary flying. The inquiry was adjourned till the injured officers are able to attend.
