SUCCESSFUL PICNIC. i (F.0.0.C.) Th© Ngaturi School picnic was held on the Ngaturi Domain on Saturday, March 15tli, when there was a full attendance of parents and children. The sports ground was kindly lent by Mr A. V . Herbert. Morning tea was served to the children and adults. Mr H. Relay race, s:x-n-side (all the school) : This resulted in a dead bent. Single ladies’ race: /Miss Margaret Dick 1. Miss Doris Cotter 2. Miss M.iriam Piercy 3. The prige-monev was divided •qually amongst the whole of the children. A tin of sweets was presented for the children’s scramble, also a large package of nuts. etc., and a very happy time was spent by all.
