BOXING CLUB
ANNUAL MEETING. The annual meeting of the Pahiatua Foxing Club will be held on Tuesday evening next. when the principal business will be the report and balance-sheet and election of officers. From what can be gathered, it. would appear that the prospects for the coming season are decidedly eneourag’ng, as quite a number of young fistic aspirants have intimated their intention of joining the club. One of the members of the executive (Mr P. Davies, of Hamn.'i) has no fewer than nine pup Is under his care, and similar encouragement is forthcoming from other districts. It is hoped to stage the first tournament in May.
