GALA DA A* MARCH 26th. A meeting of the Pahiatua Fire Brigade was held 011 Friday evening when Superintendent AA'. buvry presided over a good attendance. It was decided to hold th e pa la day oil, Marcii 2dth oil thi* Kooroation Ground. year’s programme was adopted, except that the tug-of-war was omitted. The Pahiatua Municipal Silver Rand is to be asked to contribute a programme of music. A strong committee was formed and will leave no stone unturned to make the gathering a huge success. Entries for cycling and running events close at S p.m. on March 2l?nd with the secretary (Mr H. Burt), or Mr. T). W. Wilton. The next committee meeting will be held on 14th March.
