COSTLY CAPITAL
CANBERRA CRITICISED. United Press Assn —By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. SYDNEY, February 14. The Sun, in a leader, says: “Australia ha si already spent 8i millions on the Federal capital. It has now come to a full stop. We have come to the point where- the people of Australia might as well ask searching questions : ‘Are we going on with Canberra or are we going to- pull it back?’ Canberra as it stands today could be pulled hack. The true alternative seems to- be- we should go on rather than slumber o-n the job.” —Australian Press Association.
