LATEST MESSAGES. (Received 10.40 a.m.) United Press Assn—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. CALCUTTA, December 26. An additional airplane arrived at Pesliwar, bringing women and children from the Italian legation at Kabul. Aviators reported that the area around the British legation, whicih is outside the capital has been cleared of rebel troops, and contact with Kabul established.—Australian Press Assn . (Received 10.40 a,.in.) PARIS. December 26. The Afghan legation announced it had received telegram from the Government of Afghanistan .saying complete calm prevailed at Kabul. According to the legation, the ohouryant tribe, one of the most important groups on whom the rebels relied. ha s submitted to title authority of the Government.—Australian Press Assn.
