THE LATE MR. ALBERT MARTIN
The funeral of the late Mr Albert Martin, of Pahiatua, took place on Wednesday morning, when numerous relatives and friends from various parts of the Wellington, Auckland, Wairarapa and Hawke’s Bay provinces wer e present. The deceased gentleman was one of the oldest members of the Foresters’ Order in New Zealand, having been the second secretary of Court Sir Ohas. Bowen. Wellington.
The pall-bearers were members of Court Pahiatua, comprising P.C.R.’s Bros. A. Ross R. Payne and O. Johnson, Bros. J. J. Boagey, H. Thompson and H. Gelderd. The Foresters’ ritual was read at the late residence of deceased by P.C.R. Bro. F. G. Moore, who prefaced the same by referring to the very lengthy association of the deceased with the Order, and liis genial disposition. He extended the dee}) sympathy of the brethren to the relatives. The services at th e graveside was conducted by Rev. O. A. Foston and the remaining portion of the Foresters’ ritual was read by Bro. Moore. There were several fin e floral tributes.
