NEWS FROM VARIOUS SOURCES Sir .Joseph Ward announces that the Hem. W. B. Taverner has been appointed Commissioner of State Forests, and. also, in addition to- the portfolios of Railways and Customs, he takes charge of the publicity and advertising departments.
