PRINGLE’S CHRISTMAS FAIR
MANY ATTRACTIONS. Pringle's well-known drapery emporium lias been converted into a large Christmas fair for the festive season. Come to the fair and shop early is the topical slogan of this enterprising firm which makes an appealing display of gifts in all ita departments. For those who cannot indulge in the pleasure of a visit to the well-stocked premises the articles ' specially arrasged for the Christmas season are set out by the advertisement in our issue to-day.. The men who desire presents for their womenfolk will find their problems solved by a glance over the toilet requisites, gloves, hosiery, frocks, coats and furs. Women know the worth of these goods and the values displayed male© their own appeal. Men’s external decorations are provided in pleasing and attractive designs—sox, ties and handkerchiefs. Fancy linens will appeal to th© housewife, who wiU also be attracted by the dainty underwear. Novelties catch the eye in all directions and are artistically interspersed amongst articles that have the added value of being practicol. Every feature of hem© life is catered for in the spirit of the Christmas fair. The handkerchief display is especially comprehensive, covering as it does the fancy, coloured, and boxed varieties, while hose, gloves, table napery, d’ovleys, umbrellas, etc., which are invariably most popular gifts, are here in great profusion and variety. The showroom is a beauty spot and contains a great selection of attractive articles, including marabouts, millinery, dainty frocks, and children’s wear, infants’ hand-knitted garments being a feature. The men’s department is exceptionally well stocked this year, many striking lines being specially imported. The range of shirts, ties, handkerchiefs, fancy socks, quality suits and hats is unsurpassed in the district. There are many fine articles, too in the furniture lines, the suites being a credit to the firm, to say nothing of the richness of th© rugs, mats asd squares.
