A GAY TOWN
SPECIAL ILLUMINATIONS. For the first time m the history of Pahiatua, Ma in Street was treated to special illuminations on Thursday night, rows of coloured lights running from one side of the street to the other. The innovation, instigated by the Pahiatua Chamber of Commerce, was very favourably commented upon by shopkeepers and residents alike.
The illuminations will be continued over the New Year, giving a truly festive appearance to the town.
