The gelding will remain in Sydney for the present in order to test whether the sore on his heel yields to treatment. The gelding’s owner. Air Knight, is returning to New Zealand to-day. Racing enthusiasts in Melbourne are greatly disappointed at Limerick’s breakdown. They had looked forward to seeing tlie champion in action last year, also this year, but they are consoled by the prospect of seeing the Derby champions, Mollison and Prince Humphrey.
