Teddy Green (Australia) 8.2, Tonight beat Tommy Griffiths (Dunedin) 8.10, on points in a fifteen rounds professional bout. The fight was clean, fast and open, both displaying fine fontwork. Green scored well in the early rounds hut Griffiths w-ore- him down towards the close The Dunedin man fought a splendid fight. There was a very small margin between the two. The verdict was well received.
