THE ANNUAL MEETING. Mr A. S. Cl ulow (chairman of directors) presided at the annual general meeting of shareholders: of the Kaitawa Dairy Company, held in the Kaitawa hall on Friday last. The chairman, in moving the adoption of the report and balance-sheet (already published in our columns),, said that the output had been sold to the end of December and the balance shipped on consignment. The market had hardened considerably throughout the second half of the season, which was contrary to the experitn.ee of most past years. In spite of an unprecedentedly dry summer, when they were considerably hampered by a short supply of water for factory use, the. splendid autumn had made supply recover, and they had had a satisfactory season. He urged suppliers to strenuously support their own factory and increase supply as much as possible. The motion was seconded by Mr Booth and carried unanimously. Messrs A. S. Ciulow and C. H. Jowers were T.e-elected directors. Mr G. C. Miller las re-elected auditor. The chairman announced that the output had been sold to the end of December at 9)d f.o.b. which was a satisfactory price and gave them a good leg in.
