August 19 At the Tailteaun (Irish National) Games at Dublin ‘Miss Ena Stockley' (New Zealand) won her heat iri the women’s Imndred. metres’ freestyle swim in 7.7 seconds, beating Miss Bonnie Mealing (Australia). Miss., Edna Davey (Australia) was third in bar heat and qualified for the final. In the eight hundred metres’ freestyle Lindsay (New Zealand) was second to Ault (Canada). Time, 11.29 2-5. Moorlionse (New Zealand) won his heat in the hundred metres’ Ibackstroke. Time, 83 4-ssecs. In tbe two hundred metres’ freestyle Misses Kathleen Millay (New Zealand) ■ 2.57 4-5, and Miss Edna. Davey (Australia), 2.56 2-5. won their heats. In the men’s two hundred metres’ free-style Lindsay was third in his heat and qualified for the final. In the javelin throwing Pilling (Canada.) threw 204 ft lOin, and Lav (New Zealand) 202 ft 2in.
