PAHIATUA LADIES’ HOCKEY CLUB. Another very successful euclire party was held in St. Peter’s schoolroom last evening in aid of the Pali ;ntua Ladies’ Hockey Club. The ge lit lemon’s prize was won by Mr Hunter, and the consolation trcpliy went to Mr Clapp. The. ladies’ prize was won by Mrs Brabant and the con solution award by Miss May Bellsliaw. After supper had been dispensed dance music wa,s played by Misses Bell.sliaw, Mcßratney and McDonald, assisted by Air R. Clapp-. The promoters thank all who assisted. The next- gathering will he held on Tuesday. A very successful dance was held in the Foresters’ Hall or. Saturday night, in aid of the Club. Visitor,s were present from Palmerston North and Woodville. Music was sujpplied by Mr J. Corn ford, and extras were given bv Misses Bellshaw and, M< Bratnev. The next dance- will be held on Saturday and the girls are looking forward to a record crowd.
