FIX AN CIA L SUCCESS. The monthly meeting of the Blanket Society was held in the mothers' room. Present —Airs J. D. C. Crewe (in the chair), Mesdames Paterson, Kotlowski. Siddells, Tinney and Purdie. Apologies for absence wera received from Mesdames Wilson and Mason. Nurse McDonald’s report gave the following particulars:— Visits (mid to homes 46. Visits to rooms 117 adults, 105 babies, and 5 older children, new babies 10, advice per telephone 20. The balance-sheet of the recent annual ball gave the following parti>•culars: —Gross takings £l2l 4s 7d, ■expenditure £69 10s 6d, net proceeds £sl 14s Id. Accounts amounting to £3B were passed for payment.
