DIVORCE CASES INCREASING IN AMERICA. United Press Assn —By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. WASHINGTON, May 21. Complete marriage and divorce statistics just compiled for 1926 by the Census Bureau show that while marriages have fallen off in recent years from the high point reached in 1920, divorces have increased “for more than a quarter of a centurv prior to 1926 at a rate far greater than the growth of population.” Marriages still lead divorcee but the rate of divorce is steadily increasing, while the marriage rate continues to lessen slightly. TREATMENT OF NEW ZEALANDER. VANCOUVER, May 21. Mr A. E. Skinner, Immigration Commissioner here, stated that Mr Francis Raymond Hyde was deported at liig own request. Every possible aid was given him. He had no money and was desirous of getting to New Zealand where Ins only relatives resided. Had lie remained in Canada, he would have become a public charge. The deportation order enabled him to get transportation home' free. Every kindness was extended' him. He was sent to the ship on a water bed loaned hv the hospital. The bed was taken aboard for liis use until lie arrived

at his destination. He was taken under tlie care of the ship’s physician and given special attention bv him The accident which resulted so seriously to Hyde occurred about a month after he arrived from New Zealand.
