WORK AT SINGAPORE.

Electric Telegraph—Frees Association RANGOON, February 17. The Royal Air Force supermarine flying boats, journeying to Australia, reached Penang. SINGAPORE, February 17. The flying boats, when they arrive, will be the hist planes to use tiie Singapore air base. A labour force of fifteen hundred has been making rapid prograss in tlie past eight months and six hundred acres of jungle have been cleared. The steelwork is arriving shortly and the construction of two hangars and a landing ground of two hundred acres is expected to bo finished in twelve months. A concrete seaplane slipway will shortly be completed.
