TO-MORROW’S DISPLAY

HORTICULTURAL SHOW APPEAR FOR ENTRIES. Late entries will be received for tile Horticultural and Industrial Show up till 11 o’clock on Tuesday morning. The public is asked to, support the show by making nn exhibit. Every single* entry will help, and a,s there is a scarcity of (lowers and vegetables op account of the abnormally dry season any assistance in the direction mentioned will be greatly appreciated by the Society. A reminder is given of the special prize of two guineas, donated by Mr S Bolton, for the three best boiled potatoes, cooked in thelir “jackets." This is a competition in which practically every person can take part, . nd as the prize money is particularly attractive, a large entry is expected. With a view to* helping the Society, Mesdarheis J. T. Kotlowski and R. C. Austin have kindly taken over the tea rooms. It is a big undertaking, entailing a great deal of work, but these ladies will be amply compensated for their trouble if friends and (supporters of the Society would kindly send along on the day of the Show, bread, cakes, seomeis or anything oif an eatable nature. Help in this direction would he gratefully appreciated by the Society aud, the ladies concerned. Articles for exhibition only will be welcomed by the committee and the names <>f exhibitors should be supplied. The Show will.be thrown open to the public to-morrow at 1.30 p.m. and in the evenning at 7.30 o’clock. The public are reminded that it is their own Show, and, one that is certainly deserving of patronage
